A methodology to implement a closed-loop feedback-feedforward level control in a laboratory-scale flotation bank using peristaltic pumps
Abstract
A step-by-step methodology for level control in a laboratory flotation bank of three tanks in series, using peristaltic pumps. Adding feedforward to classical feedback control significantly improved level control under disturbances. The paper covers reagent preparation, instrument calibration and PI tuning, as a practical reference for other researchers.
